Insanity - Day 4 as a WriMo

Too bad every month isn't NaNoWriMo! I say that, but if it were, I would probably keel over pretty quickly. By day 7 of NaNoWriMo I will have doubled my total word count for Compendium, which is great. That said, I have serious doubts about making it to day 7 still on track. I was able to get ahead a little yesterday (on Sunday), but we are in the busy season at work, and I have a deal closing this week, so I am rightly worried that the NaNoWriMo pace will be unsustainable. I will just have to slog through some how. I just have to suck it up, because every November is and will continue to be the busy season, so I just need to come to terms with that and figure out how to balance my commitment to my career and my commitment to myself. Hint: They are both very important to me!

If I can make it through this month and win NaNoWriMo, I will have completed the initial first draft for over half of Compendium, and that will be an excellent feeling. It does not hurt that I am getting into the e…
