Camp NaNoWriMo
Because I had such a successful NaNoWriMo, and because I now have a new project on the horizon, I decided to take advantage of the Camp NaNoWriMo summer session and signed up to participate. I will be writing chapters for NAVIGATING THE BREACH (or whatever I rename it to) during April, rather than a novel. Camp NaNoWriMo is more flexible regarding project requirements. I am particularly excited, because I have been working with a literary agent to polish my proposal for submission to publishers. I don't want to jinx myself, but I think we get along well, and I have already received really, really excellent feedback to incorporate into my proposal and project. Hopefully, it is the beginning of a great agent/writer relationship, but I am going to hold my breath (and my tongue about specifics) until the agent in question feels that the proposal is strong enough to submit. I have already spent some time this week revising it.
